BEASLEY, Mr. Jerry Vance, age 77, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama died Thursday, May 5, 2005. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Adams officiating, Interment will follow in Pine View Memorial Gardens with Ellison Fu-neral Home of Wetumpka direct-ing. Mr. Beasley is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ethel Poole Beas-ley; son and daughter-in-law, Byron and Pam Beasley of Dadeville, AL; daughter, Lynn Schwartz of Eclectic, AL; seven grandchildren, Andrea & Garry McAnnally, Amanda Barrett, April & James McPherson, Kimberly Beasley, Donald & Regina Akin, Les-lie & Troy Stephens, and Lori Akin; and twenty great-grandchildren, Remington, Carson, Callie, Landyn, Lennon, Mindy, Taylor, Lauren, Ryan, Caleb, Emily, Katherine, Han-nah, Daniel, Luke, Jonathan, Benja-min Byron, Jordan, Charlie, and Sarah . Pallbearers will be Roland Brooks, Thomas Gray, Craig Nelson, Butch McAnnally, Paul Fuller, and Don Ward. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Blue Flame Club of Alabama Gas Company. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Elli-son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request me-morial contributions be made to the Stewardship and Building Cam-paign for Cain's Chapel United Methodist Church, 96 Lightwood Road, Deatsville, Alabama 36022. Mr. Beasley was a member of Cain's Chapel United Methodist Church. He retired from Alabama Gas Company after 41 years of service.
