BERES JOHN J. BERES, 92, of N. Royalton, beloved husband, of 62 years, of Fannie Beres (nee Petulla); loving father of Ann K. Soukup (Karl) and Joseph Beres (Jeannie); dear grandfather of Lisa Stasek (Scott), Tony Soukup (Lori) and Dianne McFarland (Fred), and great-grandfather of Rachel and Joshua Stasek, Victor, Addison, Hunter and Faith Soukup, and Christina and Vincent McFarland; dear brother of Helen Doherty, George and Joe Beres, and the late Cecilia Hess and Albert Beres; uncle of many. Mr. Beres was a U.S. Navy veteran of W.W.II, was retired from the Warner & Swasey Co. in Cleveland, following 30 years as a tool technician, and then worked for 16 years at Giant Eagle in N. Royalton. He passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011. Memorial contributions may be forwarded to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, 44106. Prayer service at the funeral home Wednesday, December 21, at 9:15 a.m., followed by Mass of Resurrection at 10 a.m., at St. Albert The Great Church, 6667 Wallings Rd., N. Royalton. Interment with military honors will follow at N. Royalton Cemetery.
