Bentley, Christine HUDSON FALLS Christine "Chrissy" Bentley, 40, of Perkins Drive, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, after a courageous battle with leukemia. Born on October 14, 1971, in Albany, she was the daughter of Elwin and Katherine (Robison) Bentley. Chrissy was a 1989 graduate of Hudson Falls High School. Following her graduation, she began her career with Allstate Insurance Company in Queensbury. Chrissy had worked there for over eight years, a job that she loved. She enjoyed meeting customers and was twice awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Sales Award. Chrissy loved to eat out at different restaurants with her friends, Jackie, Rob and Patty. She also had a passion for purchasing shoes, especially sneakers. Chrissy was a wonderful cook and an avid Food Network watcher. She had an outstanding, bubbly and outgoing personality, who had many dear friends. Chrissy always thought of others first. She loved her family, her friends and her dogs and cat. Chrissy was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Mary Frommer, Ed Frommer and Orson Robison and her paternal grandfather, Elwin D. Bentley and several great-aunts and uncles. She is survived by her parents, Elwin and Katherine Bentley of Hudson Falls; her grandmother, Alice "Meme" Bentley of Hudson Falls; her brother, Scott Bentley and his wife Jennifer of Hudson Falls; her cherished nephews, Scotty, Aiden, and Brody Bentley, who were the loves of her life; her aunts and uncles, Bill Robison of Hudson Falls, Lisa Robison of Glens Falls, and Tom and Donna Frommer of Clay; her cousins, Ben and Kyle Robison, Michelle, Kristin and Karin Frommer; and her cherished pets, Maddie, Kalie and Snoop. Memorial services will be conducted 3 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011, at the Carleton Funeral Home Inc., 68 Main St. in Hudson Falls, with the Reverend Paul Cox, officiating. Calling hours will follow the memorial services on Friday until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
