In memory of
Ray Foreman
Ray Foreman, 53 VISTA -- Ray Foreman died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in a tragic hang gliding accident on the island of Kauai while celebrating his 25th wedding anniversary. Ray, a loving husband and father, a great friend and gentleman, is survived by his "pretty wife," Cindy; and son, Ross; his mother, Winona (Jim) Golden; and sister, Cyndee (Rankin) McDaniel; many in-laws, Jerry and Carmen Lopez, David ( Jennifer) Lopez, Jerry ( Dianne) Lopez, Ron Lopez; and two nephews, Devin McDaniel and Jeremy Lopez. He is preceded in death by his father, James Foreman. Ray was a strong believer in family first, and always lived his life following this belief. He was always there to help family and friends in their times of need and he had the unique ability to make everyone around him feel at ease on any occasion. He was loved by all who met him. He enjoyed his friends, music, barbeques ("only with real charcoal, no gas"), beer ("it goes with everything"), sports and a good party. Ray always had a good story to tell and could always make people laugh. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held for Ray on Saturday, May 28, at the Las Flores Nazarene Church, 1400 Las Flores Drive, Carlsbad at 11 a.m. and will be followed by a luncheon at the El Camino Country Club, 3202 Vista Way, Oceanside, from 12:30-3:00 p.m. to celebrate Ray's beautiful life. Please wear "Ray Casual" because that's what he would have wanted. In lieu of flowers, a memorial trust fund has been set up for Ray and Cindy's ten year old son, Ross Foreman. Donations may be made at any at Wells Fargo Bank. Sign the Guest Book online obits.nctimes.com
