Grace Elizabeth (Kelly) Haigh, a longtime Rye resident and local business owner died on March 4, 2004. She passed away at home with her family after a brief illness. Grace was the president and owner of Haigh-Donovan Travel, Inc., a travel agency at the Rye Ridge Shopping Plaza in Port Chester, NY. The agency opened its doors in 1973 and operated for 25 years. She had been retired for the last six years. She is fondly remembered by her friends and family for her strength of character, industriousness, wonderful sense of humor and enjoyment of life. Grace was predeceased by her husband Sam Haigh in 1964. She is survived by her brother Reverend Robert Kelly, her children Sandy Finkenberg, Sam Haigh, Tom Haigh and Susan Haigh, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11 am on Sunday, March 7, 2004 at the Graham Funeral Home, 1036 Boston Post Rd., Rye, NY 10580.
