Harry K. Armintrout Harry was born February 6, 1924 in East Stanwood, WA to Ira and Nola Armintrout; he passed away peacefully February 5, 2011 at his home in Mount Vernon. After graduation Harry joined the US Army Air Corps during WWII. After his honorable discharge, he went back to work for the Carnation Company in Mount Vernon. He was transferred to Gustine, CA in 1975. He retired in 1988. In 1990 Harry and Lois returned to Mount Vernon. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Lois; children, Gale (Ken) Parsons, Nadine Flagg, Diane (John) Lindell, Linda (Rick) Stevens; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill and Ray; sister, DeFayne; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Harry was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter. He will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Harry's life will be held Friday, February 11, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at Hawthorne Funeral Home.
