Barbara E. Williamson
Barbara Elaine Williamson 72, of Pensacola, FL, passed away at the home of her daughter, Sunday, July 24, 2005. The eldest of two children of Lyle and Bernice Williamson, born in 1933 in Canton, IL, she graduated from Astoria High School in 1951. She married in 1954 and had three children, Philip, Susan and Paul. She attended Western Illinois University as a part time student and full time homemaker. She spent time abroad in Germany as the wife of a military chaplain. She is survived by her children, Philip Butler, Susan Thomas and Paul Butler; brother, Theodore Williamson; six grandchildren: Eric, Cassandra, Erin, Kenneth, Andrew and Kathlyn; and Snowflake. Services will be held at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Brownsburg on Saturday, July 30th with friends welcome to call from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. with a service to follow immediately after. A graveside service will be held at the Bushnell Cemetery in Illinois on Thursday, August 4th at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the American Red Cross. Arrangements entrusted to Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, IN.
