Frank Acton Peters Frank Acton Peters was born May 13, 1953 in Alice, Texas and died in his home in Cedar Creek, Texas on March 9, 2010 with his loving wife, Beth Taylor Peters, by his side. He is predeceased by his parents, Edward Runnels Peters and Carol Acton Peters. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Rachel Thea Peters Monahan and son-in-law, David Monahan of Austin; his mother-in-law, Nan, and her husband Ray Tice of Kerrville; and his father-in-law, John Taylor, and his wife Juanita of Sequin. Others include his sisters, Portia Peters Schmidt of West Virginia and Nancy Peters Wilcox and her husband Bill from Alpine, Texas; one close cousin, Angela Acton Angelo; nieces, Jessica Schmidt Paquin and Jennifer Schmidt Adams; and nephews, Jacob Schmidt and Jonathan Schmidt; also Michael Minnick, Melissa Angelo, and Dylan Angelo and too many friends to mention. Frank was such a talented musician... a drummer who played with various bands for over forty years... even playing with Basilisk at the Armadillo World Headquarters in the '70s. Music was his life from the time he was 12 and got his first drum set. He had various jobs over the years but his favorite was spending the past five years driving the school bus for Bastrop, he loved the children and they loved him. His unique sense of humor, warm smile and endearing personality will be deeply missed by all. His love of family, music and life will be celebrated Sunday March 14th at 3:00 p.m. at Saengerrunde Hall next to Scholz's Beer Garden at 1607 San Jacinto St in Austin.
