Scalise, Elizabeth "Betty" Newark: On Jan. 9, 2010, at the age of 82. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Francis "Frank"; two children, Frankie of Syracuse, and Maria Scalise of Rochester; and many nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her three sisters: Isabella Scalise, Rose Alvaro and Lena Cinquegrana; and three brothers: Richard, August and Carl Truini. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, (January 15th) at St. Michael's Church, South Main St., Newark. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Michael's Church, 401 South Main St., Newark, NY 14513, or to the House of John, 14 Spring St., Clifton Springs, NY 14432.
