Family-Placed Obituary ABBIE EVANS HACKETT January 28, 1940 - November 10, 2009 Abbie made her heavenly transition on November 10, 2009, in Corvallis, OR. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Evans; younger brother, John Barry Evans; sister, Sue Evans. She is survived by her sister, Ann Evans Byrd; brother-in-law, John M. Byrd; nephews, John Byrd, II and William H. Byrd. She and her husband, Jerry, had lived in Oregon almost 30 years where he still resides. Abbie attended grade school through high school in Delray Beach and had fond memories of her friends. She was a talented artist in water color and oil and participated in art shows in the area.
