Ann Ray Ann Ray, 65, of Santa Anna, died Saturday, April 12, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 14, 2008, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Gerald Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Brown County, under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home. She was born Geneva Ann Wilson on January 9, 1943, in Coleman, the daughter of Willie Mae Gaines Wilson and the late Walter Woodrow Wilson. She grew up near Blackwell Crossing and graduated from Bangs High School. She married Donald Ray in 1962, before graduating from North Texas State. She was the girls coach and taught at Crockett High School in Austin for 20 years, until her retirement. She is survived by her mother, Willie Mae Wilson of Santa Anna; one sister and brother-in- law, Rita and Clint Day of Santa Anna; one brother and sister-in- law, Bo and Sandra Wilson of Coleman; two sons, Doug Ray and wife, Carol, of Austin, Derek Ray and finance', Stephanie Haak of Santa Anna; four grandchildren, Dalton Ray, Dylan Ray, Devan Ray, Dayla Ray; several nieces and nephews and long-time companion and friend, Deral Edwards. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Woodrow Wilson in 1997. Family visitation was from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2008 at the funeral home.
