Family-Placed Obituary KINSER, Kathleen R. "Kate" Age 83, of Kettering passed away on Monday, March 17, 2008 at Heartland of Kettering. She was born on June 8, 1924 in St. Charles, VA to Roscoe and Ruth (Suggs) Johnson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Philip Johnson. Kate is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Paul E. Kinser; two sons and daughters- in-law, Jerry and Debbie Kinser, Robert and Rhonda Kinser; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Patrick Jacobs, Donna and Barry Queen; a daughter-in- law, Laura Johnson; three sisters, Wilma Price, Margaret Grizzel, Phyllis Duncan; two brothers, Earl Johnson, Robert Johnson; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grand- children. She was a longtime member of the East Dayton Christian Church and was also a member of Beaver Valley Chapter #570, Order of the Eastern Star and Dayton Shrine #13, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday,March 20, 2008 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton- Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Scott Van Dyke officiating. Interment will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 P.M. on Wednesday, March 19, 2008. O.E.S. memorial services will be held at 7:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Heartland for the loving care given to Kate during her stay with them.
