William Julius Bihary, Sr.
William Julius Bihary, Sr., age 95, was called home to be with the Lord and join all his loved ones that had gone home before him on Monday, May 10, 2021, Pensacola, FL. William was born in Columbus, NJ to the late Alexander and Anna Wacker Bihary. In addition to his parents William was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Mavis Bihary and his grandson, Alexander Bihary. William was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him. William proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Navy. He was a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Pensacola. William loved to travel and had a great fondness for cars of all kinds but especially for antique cars. He enjoyed getting out and socializing with his friends and community and was a member of the Fort Walton Elks Lodge and the Pensacola Moose lodge #557. He attended Boarding town Military Academy in NJ and in his youth he was an accomplished piano player. Those left to cherish his memory include, his son, William Bihary, Jr. (Valerie); two daughters, Debby Williams (Steve) and Kathy Porto (Larry); Six grandchildren, Geoff Head (Ashley), Ginafer Griffin (Kevin), Kristi Ross (Richard), Loni Porto, Nic Porto and Lucas Bihary; 13 great-grandchildren, Langley, Landon, Chance, Cruz, Charlie, Taylor, Austin, Wynston, Alexandra, Koa, Collin, Nicki-Rose and Lorelei. The family will receive friends 5-7pm Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32504. Graveside service for William Julis Bihary, Sr. will be held 10:00am Friday, May, 14, 2021 at Barrancas National Cemetery, with Pastor Randy Blankschaen, officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the US Navy. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 9:00am on Friday so we can drive out to the cemetery together.       In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Care Hospice, 5041 N. 12 th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32504 or Immanuel Missionaries at https://www.immlu.com/giving
