Walter Staples Dalton, 80, of Dublin, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021. He was a Master Sgt. Ret. U. S. Air Force with 26 years of serving his country. He was preceded in death by his parents, Early and Betty Dalton. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Wanda Turpin Dalton; son, Keith (Wendy) Dalton; daughter, Sheila (Scott) Bailey; grandchildren, Candis, Brittney and Zachary; great grandchildren, Myles, Millie and Brody; a brother; and many other relatives and friends. Services will be private. He will be interred in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin with full military honors.
