Dana Kay Frindt nee Sherwin age 60 of Addison, IL passed away April 21, 2015 at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood. Dana was born February 6, 1955 at Fitz Simmons Army Hospital in Aurora Colorado. Beloved wife of Ernest Frindt. Loving mother of Leslie (Murray) Bell, Glen Frindt and the late Carrie Rexroad. Dearest grandmother of Carissa and Kayla Bell. Cherished daughter of the late Gladys Joyce Vestal. Dear sister of Melody (Chris) Self, the late Jackie Burns and the late Penny (Mike survives) Howland. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Although Dana Kay fought a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer, God decided it was time to ease her suffering and bring her home. Dana Kay enjoyed working in the Jewelry Department at Macy's in The Oakbrook Center Mall. She loved gardening, reading, sewing, knitting and watching western movies. She loved caring for Trouble the cat and Hollie and Teddy the dogs. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 South Ardmore Avenue, Villa Park, IL. Private interment at Forest Hill Cemetery in Glen Ellyn.
