Carmine Petosa, 95 Former Grant City resident liked bowling and gardening Carmine Petosa, 95, formerly of Grant City, passed away on Friday morning, Feb. 8, 2019, at Clove Lake Health Care Center. Born in Vinchiaturo Campobasso, Italy, Carmine came to the United States in 1948, settling in New Brighton. He and his late wife, Marie ( nee Varriano), moved to Grant City in 1963 . He was a member of the San Bernardino Men's Society, The St. Christopher's Sunshine Club, and enjoyed bowling and gardening. He is survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Anthony and Dorothea Varriano (nee Pietromonico), brother-in-law, Benny Veneziano, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be from the Casey Funeral Home on Monday, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Christopher's Church at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow in Moravian Cemetery.
