Richard Alan "Rick" Baxter
BAXTER Richard "Rick" Alan Baxter passed away on Monday, July 28, 2008 of natural causes. He was the son of Robert J. and Della Blair Baxter and the brother of Bob Baxter and his wife Ginny, Andy Baxter and his wife Susan, Brian Baxter, Barbara Powell and her husband Marshall and Claudia Simon and her husband Robert as well as 6 nieces and nephews. Richard Baxter was more than a Group Creative Director at Peter Mayer Advertising in New Orleans. He was part of their family. Calling it his home away from home, Rick loved his job, his co-workers and his community. Born in the town of Tonawanda, New York in 1959, Rick attended Kenmore West Sr. High and is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York. A Visitation for the Celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Schoen Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., New Orleans from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
