R. Christopher Conner, 52 SULPHUR, La. -- R. Christopher Conner, 52, formerly of Scarborough, passed away on Oct. 20, 2012, in Sulphur, La. He was born on Oct. 27, 1959, and attended Scarborough schools. Chris had been a resident of Sulphur for the past 14 years and was the loving companion of Tina Stanley, also of Sulphur. He was a friend to all who knew him. Chris enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working on projects and helping others. He is survived by his sons, Kyle and Derek Conner of Bucksport; one sister, Jane Conner Kane and her husband Tom of South Portland; one nephew, Alexander Kane of South Portland; his aunts and uncles, Jane and Ralph Cusack of Scarborough, Brenda and Steven Cole of Thorndike, and Joan Conner of Kennebunk; his cousins, Glenn and Andy Cusack, Ross Whittaker and LouAnn and Sally Conner; his half brother, Steven Conner; and his step mother, Elaine Conner of Scarborough. He was predeceased by his father, Robert Conner and his mother, Charlene Sherwood Conner. A graveside service will be held at the Dunstan Cemetery, Scarborough, in the spring.
