Ralph D. "Foxy" Horn
Ralph D. Foxy Horn, 86, of Mt. Bethel, PA, passed away Sunday, November 4th, at his residence. Born: September 29, 1926, in Stone Church, PA, a son of the late Irene Stocker and Ralph O. Horn. Personal: He was the widower of Olive M. Reeder Horn, who past away this past August. He was employed as a carpenter for the Lehigh Valley Carpenters Union in Allentown, PA, for 40 years, until retiring. Prior to that, Ralph was a farmer, operating his family farm in Upper Mt. Bethel Twp., for over 16 years. He was a 1944 graduate of Bangor High School. Ralph was an avid outdoorsmen, enjoying hunting, fishing and trapping. Memberships: He was a member of both Fish Unlimited and Duck's Unlimited. He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mt. Bethel, PA. Survivors: Ralph is survived by two sons, R. David Horn husband of Jane and Russell F. Horn, husband of Marilyn all of Mt. Bethel, PA; a brother, Franklin Horn, of Bangor, PA, grandchildren, Keith Horn and his wife Hope, Bradley Horn and his wife Dorothy, Melissa Stiles and her husband Jeff, Stephanie Bolen and her husband Joseph; and great-grandchildren, Russell, Grace, Isabelle and Ariana Horn, Ethan Stiles, and Kasandra and Olivia Norass. Ralph was predeceased by two brothers Glenwood and Robert Horn. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Lillian Lane, Village of Johnsonville, Bangor, PA. Call Friday 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Centreville Cemetery, Stone Church, PA. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 703 S. Delaware Drive, Mt. Bethel, PA 18343.
