Agnes Ewen Aug. 25, 1928 - Oct. 4, 2019 Mrs. Agnes Ewen, age 91, of Portland, passed away Friday, Oct. 4, 2019. She was born Aug. 25, 1928, in Portland. She was the daughter of the late Carl Meyer and Mary Toelle Meyer. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ewen, who she married June 20, 1947. She was a member of All Saints Church and enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, caring for her animals and spending time with family and friends. Agnes is survived by her daughter, Laurie Ewen of Portland; three sons, Robert Ewen of Pendleton, Ore., Tom Ewen (Katie) of Carmel, Calif., and John Ewen (Margie) of Roseville, Calif.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many extended family members. Per her wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Agnes' name be made to the Oregon Humane Society.
