HANNACROIX William W. Wolfe, 79, died suddenly Thursday, December 30, 2004 at the Veterans Hospital in Albany. Bill was raised in Coeymans. He retired from BASF Corp. and was a US Marine Corps veteran, serving during World War II. After retirement, Bill worked as a hall monitor for the R-C-S High School for several years. Survivors include his daughter, Carol Abbie (Wayne) Fuhrman of Hannacroix; son, David W. (Kathy) Wolfe of Ravena; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Bruno of Coeymans; and two nephews and one niece. A memorial service will be held 4:00 Sunday afternoon, January 2, 2005 at the Reformed Church of Coeymans. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Reformed Church of Coeymans, Coeymans, NY 12045; St. Patrick's Church, 21 Main St., Ravena, NY 12143; or to the Congregational Christian Church, 175 Main St., Ravena, NY 12143 would be appreciated.
