Glennon, Charles V. RAVENA Charles Vincent Glennon, 80, entered eternal life on Friday, December 21, 2007. He was born and raised in Catskill, son of the late Daniel and Irene Glennon. Charlie was preceded in death by his first wife of 35 years, Jean Prostler Glennon. Charlie was an Army veteran. He was a supervisor for AT & T before his retirement in 1984. Prior to that, he was a radio engineer for WFLY in Plattsburg. Charlie was a member of the Ravena VFW Post 9594, Coxsackie Sportsmen's Club, and the NRA. He volunteered for the Telephone Pioneer Talking Books and was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Ravena. Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Ricci Glennon; children, Bill (Roberta) Glennon, Tim (Lori) Glennon and Jeanne (Tom) Messick; and cherished grandchildren; stepchildren, Lisa Hango and Bill Abbott. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 29 at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Entombment will follow in St. Patrick's Mausoleum, Coeymans. There will be no calling hours. Contributions in memory of Charlie may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, The Inn At St. Peter's, 417 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12204, or St. Patrick's Church, 21 Main St., Ravena, NY 12143.
