Galinski, David David Paul Galinski, age 29, of Grandville, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at his family home, following a five-year battle with Ewing's Sarcoma. David was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was a 2009 graduate of Calvin Christian High School. He graduated with a Marketing degree from Davenport University. David had a passion for life, including travel, hunting, and sports. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. David was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith, II Timothy 4:7. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Patricia Galinski, Betty DeJonge; and his grandfather, Bill DeJonge. He is survived by his parents, Joan and Paul Galinski; sister, Kristin and Eric Sturrus (Madison); grandfather, Raymond (Alice) Galinski; loving aunts and uncles, Kathy and Duaine VanDerBill, Sue and Mike Flikkema, Jayne and Jim Quist, Karen Galinski, Sally and Eugene Rubio, Tom and Patty Galinski; and many beloved cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Byron Center Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Pastor Tanner Smith officiating. Interment will be held at Maplewood Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
