McCormack, James 73 a resident of Saugus and formerly from Everett passed away at home surrounded by his family on Jan 31. Jim was born on March 24, 1939, one of 4 children of the late James and Helen McCormack. Jim attended the Everett Public Schools and worked as an operating engineer and he was a member of local I.U.O.E. Local #4. Jim was a veteran of the US Army. Jim loved football, Irish music, Cape Cod and his union. He enjoyed playing the banjo and working in his yard. He leaves his beloved wife Peggy (Maxwell), and his children Dale McCormack of FL, and Leslie McCormack of Salisbury. He was the adored grandfather of Aidan James McFadden of Peabody. Jim was the brother of Rosemary and her husband Peter Gilberto of Wakefield, Kathleen and her husband Robert Lippi of Everett, and Thomas and his wife Corine of W.Peabody. A Funeral Service from the Murphy O'Hara Funeral Home, 519 Broadway, EVERETT, on Tuesday at 8:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church Wakefield at 10am. Visiting hours on Monday from 3 to 7pm. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
