Donald Gordon Jr. 1945 - 2013 NORTH ADAMS Donald Francis Gordon Jr., 67, of 470 Barbour St., died Thursday, July 18, 2013, at North Adams Regional Hospital. He was born in North Adams on Dec. 13, 1945, son of Donald F. and Constance M. (Johnson) Gordon. He attended North Adams schools and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1965. He also attended Berkshire Community College. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam War. Donald was employed the North Adams Housing Authority for 30 years until his retirement in 2001. He maintained a life-long interest in guns, Ford trucks, and motorcycles. Donald was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with his daughters and grandson. Survivors include his wife, Karen (Richardello) Gordon, whom he married August of 1969; two daughters, Jill Gordon and Kelley Gordon and one grandson, Jayson Gordon, all of North Adams; two sisters, Christine Givens of Midlothian, Va., and Cynthia Rougeau and her husband, Craig, of North Adams, and nieces and nephews, including Tracy McConnell, Eric Rougeau, Kurt Shearouse, and Glenn Shearouse and their families.
