Harry Stafford Williams passed away peacefully on May 29, 2021 in Lacombe, LA at the age of 87. He was born October 11, 1933, the only child of Harry Joseph Williams and Rosalie Marguerite Tebault. Harry was raised in Uptown New Orleans and graduated from Holy Cross High School. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Rose Nelson Williams. Harry lived life to the fullest, always being the ultimate host, throwing family, work and neighborhood swim parties, BBQs, Billiard, Poker and Domino Games. He was a loving father and adored by his family, friends and colleagues. A devoted husband and father, he was a Delta Airlines Retiree who started working on the airport ramp and finished his career as a Reservation Supervisor. As a devout Catholic, he was a parishioner of St. Philip Neri, St. John the Cross and more recently, St. Anselm Parish. Harry is survived by his 3 daughters, Melissa Williams Bascle, Linda Williams Nicosia (Gary) and Carolyn Williams Mayley (Don). 7 grandchildren, Mark Bascle, Jr. (Denise), Brad Bascle, Brooke Bascle Waters (Grant), Lindsey Nicosia Staiger, Courtney Nicosia, Kaitlin Mayley Walz (Jordan), Sarah Rose Mayley and his great-grandchildren, Bryce, Blake & Bella Rose Bascle, Henry & Ella Grace Waters, Madison Rose Staiger, Blake & Riley McCarthy & Jordan Reno and former son-in-law Mark Bascle, Sr. (Kellie). Family & friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday, June 26 at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary Street in Madisonville, LA 70447 at 10:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 9:00 a.m. Inurnment at the St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery in Covington.
