Sherlena Weaver was the second daughter born July 4, 1964 in New Orleans, La to the late Lloyd Lee Weaver & Ella Mae Weaver. Shortly after Hurricane Katrina, she relocated and became a resident of Dallas and Fort Worth, TX. However, you can best believe she was New Orleans grown through and through: Baby! She proudly attended Booker T. Washington High School. The favorite words of Sherlena aka Weaver, were: "Are you Okay? Hey is for horses, it's hello to you too!" You had to laugh because she had a great sense of humor. Sherlena joins many who preceded her in death: her mother, Ella Mae; her father, Lloyd Weaver; her sister, Lyndia Ann Weaver and her niece, Latasha Weaver. She leaves to cherish her memories her only son: Myron Weaver, Sr., two grandchildren: Myron Jr. and Myranie Weaver; two sisters: Gail W. Green (Alvin) and Andrea W. Williams (Troy); aunts: Flora Mae Dancy and Shirley W. Green; Godfather: Willie "Boe" Manchester; nieces: Nadia and Tyri Weaver, Tierra, Taja and Tamia Williams; nephews: Cornelius Weaver, Troy Jr., Tory and Tyler Williams; great-nieces: Breyon Jackson, Kapri Clark and LaNiya Weaver; one great nephew: Sacai Clark; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Majestic Mortuary 1833 Oretha C. Haley Blvd. from 12:30pm to 2:00pm. Due to Covid19, everyone attending is required to wear masks and adhere to social distancing. Gatherings are limited (No Exceptions).
