Peggy Allen Pollard January 13, 1938 - April 24, 2021 Richmond, Kentucky - Peggy Allen Pollard, 83, formerly of Maytown (Langley) Kentucky, peacefully passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at home in Richmond, Kentucky. She attended the University of Kentucky for three years, Berea College where she received her bachelor's degree and Eastern Kentucky University where she received her master's degree. After she retired from several different jobs, she enjoyed serving as a volunteer for several non-profit organizations, including Hospice. Ms. Pollard was preceded in death by her parents, George Edward and Jennie Elmeta Allen. She is survived by her four children, Mary Pollard, Ann Moore, Steven Neal, Bhana Deaver, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, her brother, Steve Allen, one niece, and a special friend, George Lunceford. A Celebration of Life will be held at Union Church in Berea, Kentucky on June 12, 2021, at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to a no kill animal shelter or Hospice would be appreciated.
