Obituary Carla Beasley, 81   Carla Margie Beasley, 81, of Blackfoot, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at her home. Carla was born January 28, 1940 in Pocatello, Idaho to Ervin Randall Herbst and Margie Evyonne Ireton. Carla has been a lifetime resident of the Blackfoot area. She attended Groveland Elementary and graduated from Blackfoot High School. On September 19, 1958 she married Jay Dee Beasley in the Logan LDS Temple. Jay preceded her in death on December 29, 2011. During her early years, Carla worked as a phone operator. Her favorite job was being a homemaker, caring for her home and family. Carla was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed sewing and coloring. She loved spending time with her family. Some other enjoyments were bowling and any type of fishing. Carla is survived by her children, Clay (Meg) Beasley of Pingree, Shane Beasley of Idaho Falls, Lance Beasley of Thomas, and Steffanie Beasley and companion Wayne Whitmore of Caldwell; siblings, Bradley Herbst of North Carolina and Sue Grover of Moreland; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Beasley; her parents; sister, Tamra; and brother, Lon. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery. Family will meet with friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Hawker Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the graveside service at the funeral home.
