Live Stream Service Ethel Lee Spencer, 86 was born to the late Clara Mae Smith and Fred Smith on October 31, 1934. She departed this life on Friday, May 7, 2021. She accepted Christ at the age of 14 in Greenwood, MS where she was born.  She moved to Memphis, TN and joined Greater Open Door where she supported and served faithfully.  In 1990 she joined Greater Paradise Baptist church as a founding charter member. Mrs. Spencer started her career as a Dietary Supervisor at Methodist Healthcare until she retired in 1997.  After her retirement she traveled the world and had a heart of gold.  She was a true servant to her community.  To know her was to love her. She's preceded in death by her children Dock Gray III and Sherian Gray.  Her great grandson, DeWayne Butler, her siblings Johnnie Mae Scott, Edgar Smith and Ruby Davis. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Michael (Monica) Smith, Rickey (Gennie) Gray, Kenneth Gray, William Gray, Lynn (Catherine) Gray Sr. of Clarksville, TN, Santoni (John) Mayers. She leaves her siblings: Fred (Janet) Smith Jr. (a loving brother in which she also considered her very own child), William Smith, Fred Smith III, Michael Smith, Willie McGhee, Lula Smith, Bertha (Charles) Gilland.  A host nieces, nephew, cousins, family and friends.
