John Lewis Glass
John, or "Chip" as he was affectionately known, beloved father, grandfather, husband, and friend, died in Meridian, ID on March 8, 2021 at the age of 73. An Idaho native, John was born in Burley and spent his formative years in Jerome. After graduating from the University of Idaho in Moscow, John went on to become a Captain in the United States Air Force, serving as a pilot and taking part in a number of tours that took him across the world.  After being stationed at Travis Air Force Base, John went on to reside in the Fairfield/Vacaville area in California for over 40 years. During his time there, he started a family having two daughters, was an entrepreneur having started a solar company, was a well-known Bank Manager, and worked at Cache Creek Resort before his retirement. John returned to live in Eagle, ID in 2017.John was preceded in death by his father, Harold Glass; mother, Sylvia Glass-Radloff; stepfather, Larry Radloff; sisters, Ruthann (Glass) Anderson and Mary Glass; and his daughters' mother, Christine (Letellier) Glass. He is survived by his wife, Vera Boyovich; daughters, Whitney Glass and Jillian (Glass) Adams; son-in-law, Andrew Adams; and his grandchildren, Rhys Vernon-Cole, Lyla Adams, and Bradley Adams. John also leaves behind many friends and extended family members who loved him dearly. All of us are blessed to have had him in our lives and will cherish his memory forever.Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will be held in John's honor with the date to be determined.
