Moris Aaron "Moe" Tcath
Hamden - Moris Aaron "Moe" Tcath, 89, of Hamden, son of the late Jacob and Gertrude (Lahn) Tcath, and beloved husband for almost 63 years to Beverly (Hendel) Tcath. Born, raised, and educated (Brown University) in Providence's East Side, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Moe was predeceased by his sister Sybil (Leonard) Michelman and is survived by children, Laurie (Peter) Sterling, Jay (Amy), and Pam (Barry) Schiff; and grandchildren, Max and Sam Sterling, Gordon, William, and Lily Tcath, and Bennett Schiff. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Heart Association, Temple Beth Sholom's Israeli Bond Fund, or the Hendel Family Scholarship at the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut are appreciated. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, at Temple Beth Sholom, 1809 Whitney Avenue, Hamden, with interment to follow at Beth El Cemetery, Groton. The Robert E. Shure & Son Funeral Home, New Haven is in care of arrangements.
