Bradford "Brad" L. Cole, 81, March 30, 2021, of Homewood IL, formerly of Chicago, beloved husband of Carmen Cole, nee Lopez; loving stepfather of Carmen B. Vargas and Luis A. (Sonia) Vargas, Jr; cherished grandfather of Melissa (Francisco) Montes, Roxanne Gomez, Lino Vargas, Lisette Vargas, Victoria Vargas, and his grand-puppies, Bruno and Brewski a.k.a. "Hondo." He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Marcella McEndre Cole, his very dear father-in-law, his fellow Army Comrade, Alex Lopez, and his treasured dog, Ali. Bradford L. Cole served his country proudly in the 101st Airborne division of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Brad was an avid enthusiast of antique cars and enjoyed swimming. He prided himself on being well dressed and loved spending time with his family and friends. Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, April 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL, at 1:30 p.m. For those attending services, PLEASE NOTE THAT COVID19 RESTRICTIONS FOR MAXIMUM GATHERING: 25 PEOPLE AT A TIME AT FUNERAL HOME, 25 PEOPLE MAXIMUM AT CEMETERY.
