Herbert Theodore (Ted) Henry
Herbert Theodore (Ted) Henry Harrogate - Herbert Theodore (Ted) Henry, age 70 of Harrogate, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 30, 2021. Ted was born to Walter Lee Henry and Emma Jean Henry in Knoxville on February 18, 1950. He attended West High School, and his life trade was carpentry. He was a member of Raven Hill Baptist Church in Claiborne County, TN. He was truly loved by all that knew him and was an inspiration to all who came into his life. He was a talented hardworking and dedicated son, brother, father, and friend. He can now go rest high on the mountain for his work here is done. He will be missed and his memory cherished forever. Preceded in death by father, Walter Lee Henry; brothers, John, Fred, Michael, Doug, Ron, and Lance Henry; son, Christopher Eric Henry; and granddaughter, Serenity Shirley Ann Henry. He is survived by his lifelong partner, Cindy Yeary; mother, Emma Jean Henry Boyd; sister and brother-in-law, Gale and Maynard Capps; children, Michael, Steven, and Daniel Henry; grandchildren, Anna, Tyler, Tristan, Tanner, and Lavada Henry; and Cindy's children, Natasha and Scott Yeary. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday February 4, 2021, at ROSE MORTUARY BROADWAY CHAPEL. Friends and family will meet at 2:45 pm Friday February 5, 2021, at Greenwood Cemetery for a 3:00 pm graveside service with Rev. Jeff Leach officiating.
