In memory of
JEFFREY JAMES STEIGELMANN
STEIGELMANN JEFFREY JAMES Age 76, longtime resident of Glenside and Boyertown PA passed away suddenly on the New Year. He will be very missed by his family and many loving devoted friends. A giant celebration of life will be held for this much loved, and one of a kind man, later this year when such a large gathering will hopefully be possible again. We hope all of his friends will attend. Jeff was born in 1944 to parents Valentine and Dorothy Steigelmann. He was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School. Drafted into the Army he was honorably discharged with a National Defense medal, Good Conduct medal, and as an expert in Sharp shooter rifle. Jeff ran Val's Olde Towne Tavern in Wyndmoor, PA with his Father for many years. He then became the proud owner of Union Jack's Olde Glory Pub, Union Jack's Manayunk, Union Jack's Congo Hotel, and Union Jack's Inn On the Manatawny. Jeff was a generous man who was always available to help friends, family, and many community organizations. Jeff is survived by his former wife and friend Joan Steigelmann, daughter Joanie White and husband Dermott, son Jeff Steigelmann Jr and his wife Julene, son Thomas Steigelmann and his partner Stephanie Hoshauer Religo, and son Andrew Steigelmann and his wife Joanne. Jeff was also the proud Pop-Pop of his many grandchildren - Kaitlyn, Jeffrey, Rachel, Brett, Aidan, Bobby, Brayden, Porter, and new baby Lily. Jeff is survived by siblings Lynn Knestrick, Diane O'Malley, Kim Steigelmann and Val Steigelmann (deceased). There are not enough words to sum up this larger than life man. If you knew him he touched your heart. Goodbye Jeff. You will be sorely missed and never forgotten. www.mayfuneralhome.com
