Mark Lee Leichliter died Monday, Nov. 30, 2020, at Connamaugh Hospital in Johnstown, Pa., after a courageous six-year battle with cancer. Mark was born April 3, 1960, in Ligonier, to William L. Leichliter and Janet (Stewart) Leichliter. He graduated from Norwin High School in 1978, where he excelled in art of many forms, which later translated into meticulous car detailing. Mark loved family, his cat and dog, and had a knack for telling stories with humor and wit. Mark was preceded in death by his father, William Leichliter; and is survived by his wife of 15 years, Bonita (Karas) Leichliter, of Johnstown, Pa.; his mother, Janet (Stewart) Leichliter, of Greensburg; brother, Doug (Janet) Leichliter, of Greensburg; sister, Beth (Clark) Peters, of North East, Pa.; nephew, Adam Leichliter, of Garden City, Mich.; niece, Sarah Peters, of Detroit, Mich.; and niece, Laura (Keith) Inklovich, of Howard, Pa. Funeral arrangements were private and under the care of HINDMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, Johnstown, Pa. If desired, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
