Dolores "Dee" Fair Berry
Services for Dee Berry, 82, will be held on Saturday, September 19th, at 2pm at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Lyles of Friendly Baptist Church officiating. Dolores “Dee” Fair Berry passed away on August 30 th , 2020 at a local hospital in Tyler. She was born on December 29 th , 1937 in Dallas, Tx to the late Earl Houston and Jewel Coe. Dee eventually moved to south Texas and attended high school in Sinton, Tx.  She was married to Don Berry and they began raising a family of 4 children.  She had many hobbies through life with one of them being her love for walking.  While living in Liberty, TX she would walk for exercise every day for many years.  She would later live in Tyler and was employed at East Texas Medical Center for nearly 18 years.  After also living in McKinney, she would eventually settle in Longview.  She loved her cats Callie and Angel dearly.  In addition to her parents, Dee was preceded in death by her step-father Wallace Coe of Odem, TX. and grandson Bryan Scott Craig of Baytown, Tx. Dee is survived by her children Tommy & wife Luvena Berry of Whitehouse, Judi & husband Wayne Oldham of Longview, Cindy & husband Gary Craig of Phoenix, AZ, Danny & wife Melissa Berry of McKinney; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation is scheduled from 1-2pm on Saturday, September 19 th , 2020 at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home, followed by the memorial service at 2pm.
