In memory of
Eleanor M. London
London   Eleanor M. (nee O'Brien) passed away peacefully on July 30, 2020 after a long battle with cancer at the age of 63.  She was the devoted wife to  Mark R. London for forty five years.  Eleanor was the mother of  Mark R. London Jr. (deceased) Ellen M. McCormick and Elyce J. Cornelison.  She was a beloved mom-mom to Michael Cornelison, Mark London III, Oliver Cornelison, Zoe Cornelison, Simon McCormick and Louis Cornelison.  She had a special relationship with her grandson Mark whom she raised and proudly watched graduate last year. Eleanor was raised in a large Irish Catholic family in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia.  She was one of 17 children born to John and Irene O’Brien.  Eleanor was lifelong friends with the “Davis Girls” (Sissy, Joanie, Sue and Dizie) whom she considered sisters.  In addition to raising her three children Eleanor helped with the management of the family floral business.  In recent years she was a fixture at Resurrection of Our Lord Parish and School where she loved working with the children and staff.  While small in stature Eleanor had an oversized personality and she will be missed. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic a memorial mass for Eleanor will be held at a future date. Arrangements by: VISCONTO FUNERAL HOME, INC. www.viscontofuneralhome.com
