Weedie Mae Smith  was born to Ball and Maebell Smith on October 6, 1927 in Georgetown Georgia.   She attended The Public School System. She graduated from Georgetown high School. She met and married Eugene Davis, Jr. on June 14, 1947. Out of this union, they had 8 children. Her husband, Eugene Davis, Jr. and 4 children preceded her in death: Eugene Davis, Jr., William Billy Davis, Albert Clyde Davis and Nathaniel Davis. Weedie  loved people; she worked as a waitress for many years. She opened up her home and her heart to many others. Many young people called her Mom Davis and they fused at her own children about her being their mom. She blessed everyone with her sweet humble ways, and her very soft voice. She loved the lord with all of her heart. She was one of the church mothers and a member of True Vine Deliverance Ministry in Fairfax, SC, under the direction of Bishop Otis Bing and Prophetess Jacqueline Davis-Bing. She was also a member of the Champion Women for Christ, a group that helps women take off the mask for deliverance and change.   She leaves to mourn: 3 loving daughters, Juanita Davis of Philadelphia, PA, Pastor Jacqueline Davis-Bing (Otis, deceased) of Fairfax, SC, Diane Davis of Fairfax SC; 1 son, Elston Davis, Sr. (Wanda) of Philadelphia, PA; 2 stepsons, Aaron Davis (Shavonne) of Philadelphia, PA & Brandon (Cynthia) of Camden , NJ; a host of grandchildren, 4 sisters-in-law, 2 brothers-in-law, 4 daughters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.   Sorrowfully Submitted, The Family
