Franklin H. Barnett March 16, 1934 - May 20, 2020 OKLAHOMA CITY Franklin H. Barnett, 86, joined his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in his eternal home, on May 20, 2020 in Oklahoma City. Frank was born to Jay W. Barnett and A. Marie Barnett March 16, 1934, in Timber Lake, SD. Frank was known for his joyous wit, steadfast integrity, and his love for Jesus. If he could have found a way to watch Sooners football while playing golf with his entire family at church, he might never have left us. Frank joins in Heaven his beloved son, Ryan; and was also preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Jay Jr., Leslie, Robert, Johnny, and David. He leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 58 years, Naomi; his brother, Ray Barnett and wife Bonnie, of Rochester, MN; his son, Frank Barnett, Jr. and wife Christy, of Kettering, OH; his son, Brad Barnett and wife Julie of Plano, TX; his son, Jay Barnett and wife Tasa, of Edmond; grandchildren, Frank III, Justin, Lindsey, Corben, Bryce, Avari, Elise, and Christina; and two great-grandchildren, Ava and Emerson. Visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Monday, May 25, 2020, from 6 to 8 p.m. A celebration of Frank's life will be held on May 26 at 2 p.m. at Heritage Baptist Church, 14317 N. Council Rd., Oklahoma City, OK 73142. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Restore Hope Foundation, 8521 N. Classen Blvd., Ste. B, Oklahoma City, OK 73114.
