Graveside services for Margaret Faye Smith Nunnally will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Pike Wisner officiating, under the direction of Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home.  Margaret was born in Gilmer, Texas on July 27, 1923.  She passed away just shy of her 97th birthday, on May 18, 2020 after a brief illness.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Will Nunnally and her son, Skip Nunnally.  Margaret spent most of her life in Tyler.  She graduated from Tyler High School in 1939.  She met and later married her husband Will on March 3, 1943.  She retired from the Smith County Clerk's office after more than 30 years of service.  She was a member of First Baptist Church Tyler where she served in many areas including the church library and working with the GA's.  Margaret loved to cook, sew and travel.  She loved to read and study her Bible and spent countless hours in prayer.  Today, she's enjoying her rewards in the arms of Jesus.  She is survived by her daughter, Judi and husband Stafford of Spring; son, Roger and wife Sherry of Tyler and daughter-in-law, Loretta Nunnally of Lake Charles, LA.  She was "Mimi" to 7 grandchildren, Tabitha, Jeremy, Jeffrey, Zachary, Garrett, Morgan and Cameron.  She also had 14 great-grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Together We Worship, First Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas.
