James "Jim" Edward DOLLAR Went to be with the Lord, October 7, 2006. Jim, 60, was born on 8/8/46 in Seattle, WA, to William and Bobbye Jo Dollar. Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Sandra Joy of 20 years, Two daughters, Deanna (Henry) Driesen and Marneye Dollar; grandchildren, Jordan, Ricky, and Katelyn; and Two brothers, Bob Parker and Bill Dollar. He served as a medic in the Marine Corp in Viet Nam and has been active in Point Man Ministries. He was a successful business consultant and financial advisor. His hobbies included baseball, fishing, bee keeping and gardening. The family would like to thank everyone for all their time, love, support and especially prayers. We will miss his charm, quick wit and honesty. Jim's legacy of great courage and a giving spirit leave wonderful lessons for all who knew him. Service was held October 12, 2006, at Northwest Church, with Burial and Full Military Honors at Greenwood Memorial Park. Memorials can be made in Jim's honor to Point Man International, a organization of veterans dedicated to helping veterans healing from the trauma of war, POB 45413, Tacoma, WA. 98448. Arrangements entrusted to Greenwood Funeral Home.
