She was a member of Shell Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church; she was a retired desk clerk for Admiral Benbow Inn and later in life was a homemaker; she loved to volunteer at Area Agency of Aging as a sitter; when her children were younger, she was drafted by them to chaperone school field trips; she attended Pine Bluff High School and attended Pine Vo-Tech for Computerized Accounting.
