Janice Marie "Jan" Flagg
Flagg, Janice "Jan" Marie Longtime resident of Jackson, MI, passed away on November 8, 2019 at the age of 79. Jan was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. Born December 1, 1939, she married the love of her life, Ren Flagg on December 8, 1973 in Jackson, MI. Jan was a dedicated mother and wife, first and foremost. Her family was her passion and she is well known for her cooking, baking and candy-making skills. Jan was preceded in death by her loving husband Ren and we take great comfort in knowing they are reunited. She was also preceded her in death by her mother, Alda Mae (Anderson) Young, her step-father, Edward Young, her sister Patricia (Rodgers) Beech, brother-in-law, Gene Beech, and her nephew, Todd Hendricks. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Norman), step-son Steve (Debbie), grandchildren, Ryan, Levi and Emily, great-grandson Benjamin, sisters, Mary Lou Middlebrook, Carolyn Brunk (Tom), and Donna Stockamp, and numerous nieces and nephews. Per her wishes, cremation has been chosen. A celebration of Jan's life will be held in the Fellowship Hall of Bethel Church, 1691 Springport Rd, Jackson, MI 49202, on Sunday, November 24th, from 1:30-4:00 pm.
