KIMBELL, Tedford Eiland Tedford Eiland Kimbell passed away in Dallas, TX on the 5th of July, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Mercer and Olive Waurine Kimbell, and his brother Lewis Mercer Jr. Ted will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Nancy, his two children, Kendra and Keith, his nephew Lewis Mercer III, and four grandchildren, Dylan, Olivia, Tyler and Jack. Born in Chicago, Illinois on February 18, 1941, Ted moved to Dallas when he was 4 years old, attended the Highland Park schools and graduated from Stanford University in 1963. After serving in the Navy, he returned to Dallas and graduated from SMU Law School. He lived life to the fullest and had a passion for family, friends, golf, and travel. He will be remembered at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church on Thursday, July 18 at 12:30. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church or the American Cancer Society.
