James Clifton Prow, Jr. Madisonville, KY January 01, 1930 - April 14, 2019 James Clifton Prow, Jr., 89, of Madisonville, KY passed away on April 14, 2019 at Baptist Health Madisonville. He was born on January 1, 1930 in Madisonville to the late Nannie Lucinda McEuen Prow and Clifton Prow. James was a pilot in the United States Air Force and served in Korea in 1953 and 1954 flying B-26 bombers and later retired from Bristol-Myers Squibb in Evansville, IN. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Madisonville and was a member of the Hanson Masonic Lodge 766 and Scottish Rite. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly Ann Harper Prow; his second wife, Jean Fowler Prow; sister, Ruby Hall; and his brother, David Prow. Survivors include his daughters, Pamela (Mike) Stevens of Versailles, KY and Patricia (Doug) Arnott of Eddyville, KY; brother, Jerry Prow of Louisville, KY; sisters, Nelda Carter of Hanson, KY, Sarah Vandygriff of Vandetta, KY, Peggy Harmeson of Indianapolis, IN and Glenda Simmons of Madisonville; four grandsons; one granddaughter; three great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at Noon on Monday, April 22, 2019 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Ken Hundley officiating and Shelly Caulder assisting. Burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY. The visitation will be held at 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday with Masonic funeral rites being conducted at 11 a.m. Condolences may be made to the family at www.harrisfuneralinc.com .
