Marjorie C. Young
Marjorie C. Young, 79, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of George W. Young. Marjorie was born in Everett, MA and was the daughter of the late Arthur S. Savage and Claudia Monroe. Marjorie worked as a sales associate for JC Penny and Home Depot for many years. She enjoyed knitting, crafting her own pottery, and taking family trips to New Hampshire. Above all else, Marjorie cherished the time she spent with her family and friends and will be deeply missed. Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Steven Young of Taunton, David Young and his wife Danah of Quincy, and Linda Monteiro of Everett; sisters, Dawn, Diane and Kay; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Peter and sister Deborah. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 4-8pm in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton.
