She was formerly employed for many years by the University of St. Joseph as a job coach for students with disabilities at the Gengras Center. A loving mother and grandmother, she leaves her daughter Jessica Chirdon and her husband Matthew of West Hartford, and her son Eric Peterson and Christine Plourde, and her son William of New Britain; and two granddaughters, Lillian Marie Chirdon and Julia Rose Chirdon. She also leaves two sisters and brothers-in-law Mary and Stephen Woods of Newington, and Nancy and Tony Guerrera of Rocky Hill; nieces and nephews, Dana and Maura Woods, Tessa Woods, Victoria and Jackson Oliveira, Laura Guerrera and Joseph Guerrera; and her former husband Charles "Chick" Kehoe of Simsbury.
