Louis DeJoie HAMILTON Louis DeJoie, 85, of Hamilton, died on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Born in Suffern, NY, Louis resided in the Hamilton area for the past 47 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served with honor during the Korean War. Louis was employed by the United States Postal Service in personnel management for 34 years before retiring in 1989. He went on to work for the Postal Employees Credit Union until 2002. Louis was an avid bowler playing for a variety of leagues. In his younger years, he enjoyed woodworking. Son of the late Anthony and Philomena (Long) DeJoie, and devoted husband of the late Felicia (Giambrone) DeJoie, Louis is survived by his son, Anthony DeJoie and wife Bhagyavati; his daughter, Michele DeJoie, and other family and friends. Burial of cremated remains will be held Friday, April 21, 2017, at 12 noon at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey St., Hamilton, NJ.
