Kenneth L. Christensen
June 3, 1922 - April 16, 2017 Kenneth L. Christensen passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday morning. Ken was born in San Francisco, his parents were Anna A. Taylor and Hans Peter Christensen. His wife of 52 years, Jewel (Judy) A. Christensen and daughter Shirley A. Sprague are also deceased. Ken is survived by his son, Gary L. Christensen (Linda), their two sons, Greg L. Christensen (Janice) and Scott A. Christensen (Myra Garcia). Other grand children include Todd M. Kimerer and Lisa A. Kimerer. Great grandchildren include Jason J. Lowe and Falisha A. Lowe.Ken was raised in the San Francisco and graduated from Mission High School. He is a World War II Veteran, served in the Army Air Force and was part of a B-17 crew that flew 42 missions overseas. He and his wife Judy lived most of their married life in the Bay Area. Ken worked and retired from Dolly Madison Bakery as an Area Supervisor. They also lived in Mt. Shasta, Rescue and Galt. Ken has lived the last twenty years in Lodi and Stockton. Ken will be buried at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine. Family and close friends will attend a private service. The family wishes to thank the caring nurses at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hospice of San Joaquin and the staff at the Oasis in Stockton.
